slanted light
When the light is low, everything is enveloped in a beauty that makes us see things differently. The white glare of midday is gone; the starkness of daylight is waning. When the day is just turning into evening, a glow is cast that can be transfixing. The sunlight is filtered through layers of a transitioning atmosphere. The colour of everything is enhanced and nuances we did not see before emerge.
